Meet Gabrielle Alacchi, Sr. Manager, CX & Product Strategy. She's empathetic, curious and a cooking enthusiast.

Tell us about your role: 

As a Sr. Manager, CX & Product Strategy, I help clients identify problems and opportunities to deliver better experiences to their users. Properly diagnosing their problems helps us design the right solution that drives business and user value. I love taking a complex problem and untangling it to help define the right experience solution for a particular audience or business problem. 

What’s one of the most interesting parts of your job? 

Putting myself in other people’s shoes - we are all so fascinating and it is interesting to look at the world through different perspectives to find the right solution. 

What do you love most about what you do? 

My job is to be curious! I am encouraged to ask every question and look at every problem from different angles. There is no right way to approach a problem or a solution, and having the space to play to find the right angle is empowering and exciting. The fact that I am able to do this every day while collaborating with smart people makes me extremely grateful. 

What does being an Appnovator mean to you?

I love our positioning of Bold Ambition and Practical Action, and I think it perfectly embodies what being an Appnovator is. We all have soft skills that we are encouraged to tap into, that directly translate into tangible experiences and results for our clients. To be encouraged to use both sides of our brains, helps us stand out and deliver superior experiences.

Empathetic, Analytical and a bit of an overthinker (ok a lot)

In your time off, what’s your favourite hobby? 

Cooking! I love getting lost in developing new or perfecting my skills in the kitchen. I am actually taking a sausage-making class next month.

What do you do to relax?  

I am open to suggestions haha

What is your favourite meal? 

There is very little I wouldn’t do to be able to have pasta for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

What is the bravest thing you've done?

Sailed across lake Ontario in a 22ft sailboat

If you could describe yourself as an animal, what would it be?

A duck - collected on the surface, but always paddling underneath
